About Me

Volunteering with the Maine Conservation Corps, 2019
Hello!

My name is Kristie Lafavore, I am White Sage Property Services. I am a Fully Insured Sole Proprietor, Independent Contractor.
I operated White Sage part time or as needed while attending college in Tampa, FL, in 2010. I moved back to Mount Washington Valley in 2018, with a BS in Environmental Science and Policy, and Masters Certificate in Plant Biology. While the White Mountains are beautiful, job opportunities can be limiting here.

In the summer of 2020 I had my personal house on Airbnb while I spent the summer semi off-grid continuing my permaculture learning. Initiating, managing, and cleaning my house was a great experience. Since then I have continued to observe and learn from other Hosts, Clients, and Guests that I have interacted with.

During the Spring of 2022 I decided to start White Sage full-time as I saw a growing industry in short term rentals, with a need for skilled, professional cleaners and entrepreneurs such as myself. I am local, reliable and committed to your home. I thrive on feedback and accountability.

I am a Mental Health and Human Rights Activist. My long term goals include designing and building affordable, permaculture based, tiny-home communities.
